Winery

Many things are required to make a good wine: fertile soil, the right amount of sunshine and rain and – and above all –  a love for wine making. We believe in wines for pure enjoyment – made to be drunk with joy among friends.

Bio Suisse

From August 2023 we will proudly sell our first Pinot Noir with the Bio Suisse in conversion label. We have been able to win over a vine grower in Wilchingen who grows Pinot Noir and Riesling for our winery under the strict regulations.

Regional

is our top priority. We only process hand-picked grapes from Wilchingen, Osterfingen and Trasadingen (AOC Schaffhausen). For us, quality begins on the vineyard. The vines have been cultivated for decades by our vine growers with their traditional handicraft and their great experience. In the cellar we create long-lasting wines that will still be enjoyable for many years to come.

Sustainability

is very important to us. Quite inconspicuous and little noticed – but our wine carton literally has it all. Did you know that we deliberately choose an extra-sturdy box so that it can be reused and does not have to be disposed of after each use? For your next wine purchase, you are welcome to bring the box back to us and make a small environmental contribution.

Our classifications

«Wilchingen isn't a very big place, but the Rötiberg-Kellerei is someplace you should definitely make a point to visit! »

«The wealth of ideas and creativity are flagships of the winery. »
